The que sera, sera phrase is an inspiring and beautiful phrase. Such a beautiful phrase should be accompanied by a beautiful image. Birds of all different species hold a tremendous amount of symbolism. Dating back to even the ancient Egyptian days, birds have always held a high place on the spiritual charts. In ancient Egypt, if a bird was seen after someone had passed away, they believed the bird was there to guide the deceased person’s spirit into its new incarnation.

Depending on which bird you have in mind, there are many different meanings behind each one. The dove is a bird that many people get tattoos of because of the symbolism. A dove represents love, and peace, and acts as a messenger.

Like the bird tattoo, feathers are a popular graphic to get when placed next to an inspirational phrase. The symbol of a feather represents so much. The feather is a symbol across many cultures, they have always, in one way or the other, represented the connection to spiritual realms and divinity. A symbol of flight and freedom whether that be mentally or physically, a graphic of a feather is both subtle and pleasing to the eye. Many have gotten the image of a feather with a small flock of birds flying off of the feather, giving the graphic a kind of infinite effect.

Butterflies have always been looked upon as being very spiritual creatures. The symbol of a butterfly is a representation of our souls throughout many cultures. The butterfly represents life, change, hope, and endurance. An image with the phrase ‘que sera, sera’ goes well with the graphic of a butterfly in the sense of the meaning and the symbolism.
